How to Add Subtitle (for beginner.. don't expect too much ok! xD )
Yosh!!
I'm sure some of you are waiting for this tut... It called... "how to add subtitle on videos"
Let say you want to sub a video clip or drama and post them on youtube. OR you want to take a youtube video, subbing it, and put it back again. Yeah... we can do that :D
Shall we begin?
================================
1. RAW VID
Hmmm... download your video first.. or get it ready to sub. Ah! This program might come in handy!
Download IDM 5.14 Build 5 here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?1hzvzpnki86
Or if you want to download something from online streaming, use keepvid.com, or if you have IDM already, run it on Internet Explorer and it shall give you something like this

Click on it and it will be downloaded automatically. Ok! So by now you basically have an FLV file. wanna watch it? :P Well 'duh, you can't watch it on Windows Media Player! You'll need FLV player or Media Player Classic.
Download Media Player Classic
http://download.betanews.com/download/1080441198/klmcodec390.exe
(if they ask you for a password, type in www.2baksa.net -- I don't think they will, but just in case) And when install, choose "a lot of stuff" instead of default, ok? A LOT of stuff.
2. CONVERT
Now you have the .flv file, and you might want to convert it to something else. Well..
Download WinAvi 8.0
http://www.box.net/shared/vwn0ylww88
Ok. I assume that you are smart people... So I don't need to post the sceen shot, do I? Don't worry, I'll take you there step by step.
Let say you have downloaded -first.flv, -second.flv, and -third.flv, and you want to compile them into one.avi
Let's do that!
Click AVI on WinAvi and locate (browse) your files. One? Two? three files at once? Of course you can. Just make sure you get the sequence right, so it will be -first, -second, and then -third. It's user friendly, really. Pay attention to output mode (that is, if you put more than one file there), "merge into one file" or "create separate files".
3. BASIC KNOWLEDGE ABOUT SUBTITLE
You want to play with subtitle at least you gotta know a bit about it. There are two types of subtitle, the soft sub and the hard sub. Hard sub means the subtitle was already glued in the video, it become a part of the graphic. Before that, all hard sub was soft sub.
Hmm... how should I explain it...
Oh I know.
You might know already that we can download many subtitles from websites, like www.mysubtitles.org, etc (just find them on google).
Subtitles has many formats, the most popular and easily edited was *.SRT, and then *.SSA *.SST *.SUB *.SMI and many more. Because this tut is for beginner, (and I AM a beginner myself, so forgive me :P ) we shall discuss more about *.SRT
--PREPARATION--
Download XP_Codec_Pack --> http://www.box.net/shared/tzqfi8vc4o
Install.
Now, you need to practice. Go find and download a *.SRT subtitle file out there. NOW. Go go!
Done? You're back? Ok. Now create a new folder. Now put your *.SRT file there. Now go to your video collection and get the small one (it's for practicing purpose only), copy and paste it on the previous folder. Now rename the *.SRT file to practice.SRT and rename your video you just copied to practice. So basically you give your video and your subtitle the same name, and place them in one folder.
Open the Media Player Classic I told you to download earlier, and you see... your video is now subbed!!! OK? Is that clear? Clear *clear* ? It's nice isn't it.. to experience it yourself ^.^
Ehh...?? It's not working??? Whyyy??? Oh well~
Download BSPlayer Free --> http://www.bsplayer.org/en/bs.player/download
You should be able to watch it now with it ^^
============================================
Ok, so that is soft sub. Next lesson, we will be CREATING the soft sub itself!! Dun dun dunn.. !
4. CREATE SUBTITLE
Download Subtitle Workshop for free!
(eh.. you already understand it when I said "free", right? That means... search it on google and download it~ veeeery easy)
Install it and you'll get something like this:
. . . . . . .
... that's what I wanna say.. but I'm too lazy to use a screen cap :( next time okay?? ^.^ --> (smile and try to look cute so not be hated)
OK!
I'll guide you. Remember the practice.SRT from before? Open it. File - Load subtitle - browse. Now click on Video - Open - browse.
Experiment by yourself, change the text, and see what differences it makes. Change the time, etc.
You see~
There are three types of time-count (time count? what is it? am I using the correct tense?)
Anyway, there are show, hide, and duration. Show is the start of when you want the subtitle to shows up. Hide, is when you want it to disappear. And Duration is simply Hide - Show.
Now every time somebody talk, you press alt + c and when he/she finished talking (or when you would want your subtitle to be disappear), press alt + v .
Remember that the Show time for the second line, should not be earlier than the Hide time in the first line, otherwise it won't show up, and vice versa. You'll get the hang of this as you practicing. OH and, you might want to check out on the tabs (File, Video, Tools, View, Search) and everything else so you know what you're doing. You might also want to pay attention to "translation mode", it'll be quite helpful to translate stuff.
DON'T BE SCARED TO MAKE MISTAKES!! This is practicing,, that means failure, failure failure all over again. You can just load the subtitle over and over again (as long as you don't save the changes),, you also can re-install the software anytime it if you mess big time...
So keep practicing before make a real subtitle!! Oh~ I suggest you to use a small clip for the first time. Something that is not more than 1 minute, coz' we'll have another experiment with converting the vid later.
4. MAKE THE HARD-SUB
YOSH!! You've made your first soft-sub!!! Omedettoo...!! (that means congratz, btw)
This is it. The finale!!
First...
Download Total Video Converter.
http://www.zshare.net/download/13457396a3767ac7/
As usual... I won't provide screen caps.. But I will guide you!! ^.^ I am nice like that ^.^
New Task - Import File - browse your video (or, open a windows explorer and drag your file in)
Choose the format. MPEG perhaps? Or you wanna turned them back to FLV format?
Let's do that!
BEFORE you press [Convert Now], click [Advanced], and look the one that said "Subtitle"
Yup. Go browse your subtitle!!
Now click [setting] and chose the font you like. AND experiment (told ya~) with font and other stuff.
STOP! Look on the right side of it, find the word [output file] and [output format], make sure it's what you want it to be. (The default is in C://MyDocuments/MyVideos)
====================================================
Omedetto...!!! Now you have your subbed video!! YOUR VERY OWN FIRST SUBBED VIDEO!! Now it's the time to start learning Japanese or Korean or whatever coz now you can contribute to the fandom-kingdom!!! Huzzzzaaahhhhhhh

How to Play PS1 games on PC
Hey all!
Today I'm gonna give you another *tutorial*. Today is under the tag [games]
Remember Final Fantasy VIII? Remember Eden, Bahamuth, Shiva?? Or Suikoden II, Parasite Eve, Lunar, Rayman, Hercules, Xenogears?? Ever wish to play those games all over again (or maybe finish them for the first time... to think of... I never really finish Suikoden II and FF-IX), but your old PS1 console is broken and your PS2 just CAN'T play PS1 CDs?? Oh--and not to mention you moved house couple of times in the last 10 years and you just lose track of where's your old playstation games??
I'LL TELL YOU how to play PS1 games on PC, completely free of charge, you only need a *preferably fast* internet connection, keyboard, CPU and monitor. You have 'em all?? Let's start!!
===========================================================
1. Download ePSXe (PS1 emulator)
http://www.epsxe.com/ --> navigate from there, and download the latest version (don't DL any beta! Choose the most stable one)
2. Download plugins
Plugins will be necessary. There are three plugins you basically need to run the program.
Go to http://www.ngemu.com/psx/epsxe.php?action=plugins
And then press Ctrl+F and download these following stuff:
--> P.E.Op.S. GPU (v1.18b)
--> Pete's GPU Plugins (v1.77)
--> Eternal SPU (v1.41)
--> P.E.Op.S. DSound (v1.9)
--> CDR Mooby (v2.8)
--> P.E.Op.S. CDR (v1.4)
Extract the files into the "plugin" folder in the ePSXe. (It's NOT in C://Program Files ! Remember the path when you download the ePSXe program in the first place? And you double click on it to run it? Go there and you will find the plugin folder)
3. Download BIOS
You'll need a file called scph1001.dll just type it on google and download it. After, place it on the "bios" folder. (Even if you don't, you can locate it yourself later in config. We'll get there soon).
4. Download your game!!
You can type your game on google and search for it and download it, or use torrent on mininova or anything... but if you're not familiar with torrent (it'll be another tutorial, next time) -- and for me it's a pain in the ass coz' torrent might take TOO long to download -- try these following sites. I only downloaded from one of them, but you're welcome to try to download from numerous websites I'm about to give you.
http://www.romhustler.net/roms/psx
http://emuparadise.org/roms/psx
http://www.romulation.net/psx
http://konsoloyunlari.net/bolum.php?f=76
5. CONFIG
Run the ePSXe
Config - Video
(a) Choose the plugin (I use the first option) -- Configure
(b) Choose the resolution, and or whether you want to play it in a window (thus you can read the walkthrough at the same time), or full screen. Ah and if you wondering, the resolution depends on your computer performance... I personally choose window.
If you're confuse, click "NICE" on default settings (bottom-left)
Config - Sound
(a) Choose the plugin (I use P.E.Op.S. DSound blah blah)
(b) Choose following options
Mode : 2
Volume : 1
Reverb : 2
Interpolation: 3
Leave the rest as default and OK.
Config - Cdrom
(a) Choose the plugin (I use P.E.Op.S blah blah)
(b) Don't need to configure anything there.. leave it as default.
Config - Bios
Locate the scph1001.dll and OK
Config - Game Pad - Port 1
Adjust it at your convenience...
6. Play your game!!
File - Run ISO
Locate the PS1 game you just downloaded, if you downloaded more than one files, choose the one with the BIGGEST size.
Enjoy your game!
============================================================
Basically that's all. But if you actually have PS1 games, you might want to play them on CD ROM (run-CD ROM), or you might want to rip it (you can use nero to rip it) and mount it with a program like Daemon... but too bad I'm not detailing that here..
But if you really want to know how, my advice as usual... Make a great use of google!!!
